Sandy Donovan first moved to Rockhampton in 1993 and has lived on acreage outside of Yeppoon since 1997. He grew up on a mixed farm at Yelarbon in southern Queensland and Jackarooed for 3 years on sheep and cattle stations before attending Marcus Oldham Farm Management College in Geelong, Victoria.
Since graduating from MOFMC with a Diploma in Farm Management, Sandy has had a diversified career which has included 16 years in agribusiness banking, a year working in an accounting firm, and 4 years in financial consulting and share market education.
Sandy entered the financial advice industry in 2006, working alongside Kevin Hawley and Kathy Scharf at a stockbroking firm for 6 years. He has a strong interest in direct equities and financial planning, having completed a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) in 2004 and is currently studying a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning.
At Archer Wealth Management, Sandy is supported by Kathy Scharf, Client Services Manager. Kathy has many years’ experience supporting and assisting clients in accessing the advice and services they require.
Kathy’s main role is to ensure that the client process is streamlined and enjoyable. The implementation and review process is just as important as the initial provision of advice, and Kathy takes great pride in ensuring that client reviews and requests are processed efficiently and accurately

Archer is a name that goes back to the origins of Rockhampton and the surrounding region with the arrival of the Archer brothers, Charles and William, in 1853.
